Hyundai India has shared details about the updated Creta, which will be unveiled on January 16. The company has released pictures of the SUV with brand ambassadors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone posing alongside. Interested buyers can now reserve the car by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. It’s important to note that the new version of the car has undergone a complete design overhaul.

The Hyundai Creta Facelift showcases a fresh exterior design that follows the brand’s “Sensuous Sportiness” theme. The front has a brand-new look with a redesigned grille and an upright hood design. This is enhanced by new LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and quad beam LED headlamps, distinguishing it from the previous model. The rear of the car also features LED lights that connect across the tail, along with what appears to be a new rear bumper.

The outside look of the car will be enhanced by having 6 single-color options and 1 two-color option. The single-color choices are Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey. The two-color option is Atlas White with a Black Roof.

Inside the SUV, they’ve made it look more high-end with several upgrades. It now has a digital display for the speedometer and a touchscreen system for entertainment. These two things are now on one screen, similar to the setup in the Kia Seltos. Also, it has a simple design. The SUV will come with new features, including a 360-degree camera.

The new Hyundai Creta Facelift will come in seven different versions: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O). You can choose from three types of engines: a new 1.5-liter Kappa turbo GDi petrol, a 1.5-liter MPi petrol, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel. The car offers different transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed automatic.

Due to the updates, the Hyundai Creta Facelift will be more expensive than the previous version, which starts at Rs 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom). Once it’s available, it will compete with other cars like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and more.
